Inactivity sucks. There, I said it. It sucks. So by extension, I suck. Again, apologies for the tumbleweeds rolling through this blog, unfortunately my attention has been needed everywhere else and something had to suffer for it. But I’m here to redeem myself with the only thing that matters; music.
To get the ball rolling, I figured it was about time to swing the spotlight over to one of this blog’s favourite people,
Youth. I say it, and I repeat it a-milli times over, this dude is incredible. He’s fun, entertaining but with a really impressive sophisticated edge to his productions. And he’s been heaps busy recently, and accordingly has a swag of goodies to share with us all.
So this week is all about Youth, everyday I’ll be posting something from him and hopefully you’ll convert to the disco-rainbow light. Welcome to Youth Week.
First up is Youth’s tasty little edit of The Bloody Beetroots & Steve Aoki’s enormous tune Warp. Youth takes the cheeky route with this mix, retaining all the best bits from the original tune whilst seamlessly adding in elements from Cassius’ Toop Toop. Oh and scope the piano line! Major.
