What Of Our Future

At last the Cazals album is upon us. The UK kids have been under the bright lights of Kitsuné for three singles now but I'm really excited to hear the full length. All the remixes that got comissioned turned out to be pretty ordinary, save for ones from Vicarious Bliss and Moulinex, so I really hope that people stick behind this incredible group. The Galvatrons annoy the shit out of me. And that's being nice. They sounds like dicks, look like dicks and have dick names like Condor. Fucking douche. Re-dubbed Condom. What annoys me even more than band's hair metal-revival schtick is that Warner had to go and commission some really good people to remix these cock swabbers. Bag Raiders, Hey Now, CSK OK and the Knife Machine all add their talents to the 'Trons' collective zero and it means I have to, HAVE TO, do a post about it. See how they got me? It's like entrapment...without Connery. Bag Raiders turn the original into something not only listenable but also stomping and awesome. Dub mix? Plz? I don't think the Knife Machine mix got an official release so consider it hot. Cassian is still making some tweaks to his so there'll unfortunately be more G-Tronz posts in the future. Dicks.

Nintendo vs Sega

My first console was a Sega Megadrive/Genesis. I only played Sonic games. Fuck I loved Sonic. Sonic & Knuckles was probably the best. So so good. But then we got robbed and I got a Nintendo instead. I never looked back. Seriously, that thing was wonderful. Super Mario Kart, Zelda, DK Country II (the best one), the list goes on. So when the RAC dropped their first EP full of 8-Bit & 16-Bit homages, as much as I love Sonic, I have to go with the Nintendo jams for the win. A Link T0 The Past is just genius. If you loved their remixes then get behind this stuff.
