THE SOUND OF ARROWS

Ever since their gleeful debut on the Swedish indie pop scene with the sample-tastic Danger! and its following single M.A.G.I.C., I've been hooked on The Sound Of Arrows. Hooked harder than a dejected teen on crack. They're terrific at crafting exquisite pop tunes with a healthy dose of Euro-glam bundled in there, all done with irony-free grins.

Now the duo are onto their third, and resolutely best single yet, Into The Clouds. Dropping on Neon Gold later this month, Into The Clouds is essentially the realisation of TSOA perfect-pop ambitions. It's carried by some gorgeous wind-swept synths, some surprisingly tough beats and those terrific vocals. It's a good thing I named this blog Hyperbole because this could probably one of the year's best singles. In any event, it's essential listening.
