Australian lads Neon Love first emerged out of good ol' Ballarat this time last year with their entry into triple j's Unearthed High contest, and caught my eye, or um, ear, with their sprightly pop tones and cutesy name (as in Bright Like...). Now they're back again, dropping their new tune Holiday around to radio, blogs and all who'll hear it.The tune is a big step up for the already well accomplished group, bounding forwards on choppy guitars and an expansive grab-bag of instruments. It's sun-baked joy, ideal for this time of year when summer's ending up North and just beginning down here.
