The new Talons record is dropping on Saturday here in Australia on my new fave label, Rice Is Nice, and it's a corker of a record. Kind of not what you'd expect to see on this blog, but it's such a tight little ball of reckless noise and energy that you can't help but be won over by it.Talons - Bayonet [YS]

Yeah I was checking out Talons the other day on their myspace, pretty good stuff (I actually found it by accident just surfing around myspace, and I was pretty glad I did.)
I think you hit it on the head, it's hard not to be won over by this album - sometimes is nice to hear something a little bit different. I liked all of the tracks they had on their myspace - of course the quality is a little bit lower than you would like, but what do you expect out of a myspace page?
