War

Yuksek and Strip Steve are at war. These two haven't been dissing each other, nor have they been engaging in strategic air-raids over each other's countries. They're currently locked in a tense battle...trading blows in a Remix War. The two producers have been pitted against one another on two releases now. One would be a tussle, but with two competing remixes, that means all out war.

The Remix War is growing increasingly more common, like with the heated Remix War waged between Bag Raiders and the Knife Machine who went head to head on releases by Lost Valentinos and Galvatrons (Results: 1. Bag Raiders Win 2. Bag Raiders Win) and Whitenoise and Knightlife who sized up on 12 inches for Like Woah! and Bag Raiders (Results: 1. Knightlife Win 2. Dead Heat).

Now we've got our next conflict. Yuksek vs Strip Steve. Man on man, banger on banger, remix on remix.

[^FIERCE!!]

ROUND ONE

Van She Remix

The one that started it all. Both came out strong, Strip Steve firing with some glitchy house bibs and bobs while Yuksek clawed back with a heavy load of huge drums and floor-filling crunchiness. Hands down, Yuksek for the win.

ROUND TWO

Adam Kesher Remix

Continuing the feud between Yuki and Strippy, these two remixes done for Adam Kesher just landed. As much as I dig Steve's bitcrushed techno on this, Yuksek dominates the shit out of this thanks to that rave-siren synth and hefty beats making it a surefire bngr.

Adam Kesher - Irene (Strip Steve's MTV Remix)

Adam Kesher - Feel You In My Arm (Yuksek Remix)

Victory for Yuksek. That shit was hard fought. Don't agree with the outcome? Speak up. Know any other Remix Wars? Speak up. We electro scholars need more Remix War Historians. Come on.
