After dusting off that totally boss SebastiAn remix of Kavinsky's Testarossa Autodrive yesterday I got to thinking just how much I enjoy that faux-zombie Frenchman's Euro-Banger schtick. I cooled on him there for a bit but after unearthing a couple of rare Kavinsky delights I realise that the dude has got some decent range when he wants to push himself. Hopefully after he's sick of touring the world as a (self-confessed) shitty DJ and scoring bj's from coked-out hipsters he'll get back to some new stuff.Kavinsky - Ghost

I heard that awhile back Mr. Oizo had a really old PC but stock full of softsynths and editing programs. He was gonna throw the computer away but ask Kavinsky if he wanted to mess around with it. So Kavinsky took it off his hands and the rest is Zombie history...
nice. proves I should have been born in france. also read he self confessed his tracks weren't so hot before the demos as we know of kavinsky, but he kept going trying different things... and again, zombie history...
