Nine Ladies Dancing

I've been backtracking through the year that was 2007 now that we're getting close to its finale and have been thinking more and more about all the good music I've had the joy of listening to this year. There'll be lists galore in the coming week where I get my nerd on and try and squeeze 12 months of music into some Top Tens, but before we do that I'll be spending some time reminiscing about some of the artists and tunes that I liked the most during the year. First up is one of my favourite discoveries of the year, those uber-cool Valerie kids, the Outrunners. I've been raving about these guys for a while now, but the duo have just released two EPs, one on Lemon & Lime Records, and the other one a digital freebie. Both are exquisite slices of luscious, neon-loving new-wave synth-pop. Here's a new remix off of the Cool Feeling EP, it's the dreamy Anoraak mix, which had me from the get-go. It's too damn good.
