Blue Magic

I'm on something of a French kick right now. Along with all the Valerie kids, Breakbot and DatA are all rising stars of French electronic music. We can add to that list the Parisian duo, Marius & Cesar. The duo caught my attention with their nifty little edit of Breakbot's superb Summer Party from earlier in the year. The pair of brothers kindly sent me over the remix which wonderfully re-invents the original. Also in their little package was an original tune, Midnight, which has got loads of minimalist electronic funk and a squiggly '80s synth solo. So, you know, it's great. Get into it.
