We Love The Teenagers

As promised, it's Teenagers time. What started out as just a one-song post has quickly blossomed into a mega-post of sorts, because the Teenagers are really very good. I took note of this when the trio started blowing up across the blogosphere thanks to their hipster-dos and potty-mouthed indie-electro stylings. And while that feels like an age ago, it was only like one year ago, and now the boys are a scene powerhouse. Thanks can be given to the band's excellent remixes which have affirmed their cool-kid status. I make it a mission to look out for any new stuff that the guys do and as such I've been hunting down the fabled and mysterious Sex City remix they supposedly did for Van She. I say supposedly because I only ever saw the tune listed on some dude's Last FM and never found an MP3 of it. That is, until now. I've got it and it's great. A nice change of pace for the Teenz. So enjoy it.

No word on the status of this remix as Dorian himself isn't even sure whether or not Modular's releasing it on the next Van She single or whatever. He gave me the green light to post this baby, so out it goes into the big wide world.

I personally like the direction they're heading in, there's more variety and more hooks. Who knows when their album will be properly completed, but I know I'm certainly waiting with baited breath. Get on it.
